Santander Community Chest

The 151 Club has received a share of the Santander £250,000 Community Chest after local customers named it as their favourite local charity in a vote that ran in the Blackwood branch throughout January and February.
To celebrate the rebrand of Abbey and Bradford and Bingley to Santander, the bank launched its Community Chest programme and asked its UK customers to decide which local charity was to benefit in their area. The aim was to strengthen relationships in the communities in which Santander branches are located and to help raise the profile of the charitable organisations making a difference in their area.
